The resort is situated between 1,450 m (base) and 2,850 m (summit), with an average elevation around 1,850 m. This setting ensures reliable snow cover and access to expansive alpine panoramas. Our apartment Les 5 Cîmes is located at over 1,850 m. 

2. Which neighborhood to choose in Les Ménuires?

La Sapinière is one of the most sought-after and elegant neighborhoods in the Les Menuires resort. Nestled above 1,850 m in a quiet, wooded setting, this pedestrian hamlet offers high-end chalets and residences—ideal for those seeking comfort, privacy, and an authentic Savoyard ambiance.

Perfectly located between the Reberty 2000 and Croisette areas, the Hameau provides ski-in/ski-out access to several runs in the 3 Vallées domain, while being just minutes on foot from shops and restaurants. You’ll also find a restaurant, ski rental service, and wellness area.

3. How to reach Les Ménuires by train?

Take the TGV to Moûtiers–Salins–Brides‑les‑Bains, then continue by shuttle, taxi, or bus to the resort. 

4. Where to buy ski passes in Les Ménuires?

Buy online directly from the official site. 2025/2026 day-pass rates:

3 Vallées: 1 day for €81.80, 6 days for €409; 20% Saturday discount (excluding weekends).

Les Ménuires / Saint‑Martin: €39 per day on Saturday via a rechargeable pass or dispenser. 

5. How to get cheap ski passes?

Family discounts all winter.

–20% on Saturdays for the 3 Vallées domain if purchased before Friday midnight. (lesmenuires.com)

6. How to ski from Les Ménuires to Val Thorens?

With a 3 Vallées pass, you can ski directly to Val Thorens via the lifts. Alternatively, free shuttles connect the two resorts.

7. How much does ski equipment rental cost?

Approximately €40 per person for 6 days, depending on provider. Many shops (Skimium, Intersport, Skiset) are available around the resort. (Ski Compare) Sport 2000 is also located just 5 minutes from our apartment.

8. What to do in Menuires during summer?

A wide range of activities: hiking, mountain biking, via ferrata, alpine toboggan, beach volleyball, orienteering, cultural visits, local microbrewery… up to 50% off with the Ascension Pass. Lifts operate from July 5 to August 29, 2025. 

9. Where to go out and dine in Les Ménuires?

A family-friendly and calm atmosphere with pleasant restaurants and bars, especially around La Croisette. Just steps from the apartment, we recommend "l’Étoile" restaurant (closed during summer).

10. When does Les Ménuires resort open?

For winter 2025/2026: from December 6, 2025, to April 17, 2026 (around 130 days). Simultaneous opening with 3 Vallées. 

11. Where to ski in Les Ménuires?

The domain includes Mont de la Chambre, La Masse, and Grangeraies / Saint‑Martin sectors. Expect 81 slopes, 34 lifts, covering 160 km of alpine skiing.

La Combe de la Masse – Les Menuires

🏔 Located on the wild side of La Masse, this long descent offers breathtaking views of the Alps. With little traffic, it ensures a smooth and fast ski experience, often with powder snow.

Jerusalem – Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
⛷ Level: Blue
⛰ Known for its postcard-like scenery, this hidden gem connects Les Menuires to Saint-Martin. Ideal for families or as a relaxing run after more technical slopes.

La Cime Caron – Val Thorens
⛷ Level: Red / Black (access from 3,200 m)

🔥 Considered one of the steepest runs in Europe, this legendary freeride slope is not for beginners. It offers a dizzying descent through a natural couloir.
